Olswang advises on sale of New Energy Finance

Olswang has advised the majority owners of New Energy Finance, on its successful sale to Bloomberg.

New Energy Finance is a leading provider of subscription-based news, data and analysis on clean energy and the carbon markets.

New Energy Finance was founded in 2004 and now has a dozen offices around the world serving the information needs of the financial and political community in the highly important renewable energy sector, which saw investment activity of around $150 billion in each of the past three years. The company also provides dedicated information services for each of the major emerging carbon markets, which are alone expected to witness global trading volume this year of $120bn.
