Special edition of Kent Business

KM Group has announced the top 50 fastest-growing businesses in Kent and Medway in 2009. Published in Kent Business and supported by Lloyds TSB Commercial and Reeves & Neylan, the MegaGrowth supplement profiles these 50 businesses and charts their success over the last four years.

This special edition of Kent Business is available with select editions of KM Group’s paid-for newspapers from the 8th October and online at www.kentbusiness.co.uk

“Now more than ever it’s important to share the good news stories of businesses in the county” says Morag Welham, Head of Special Interest at KM Group. Business Manager George Gault concurs. "In this tough economic climate there are signs of resilience, courage and strength from our businesses in the county. These MegaGrowth businesses are especially bucking the trend and growing at a phenomenal rate!"

Top ranking in MegaGrowth 50 survey 2009 goes to Hobson Prior of Tunbridge Wells; providers of recruitment services for the European life sciences industry. Hobson Prior and companies including Invicta Building Services, Pentagon Holdings, Pharon Independent Financial Advisers, Oakview Estates and Select Software were recognised for their achievements at a breakfast event at the prestigious Leeds Castle on Wednesday. The event was attended by over 80 professionals from across the county.

Following the first Kent Excellence in Business Awards (KEiBA), MegaGrowth is another example of KM Group’s support of the business community in Kent. A dedicated special report is now on the Kent Business and KentOnline websites.

The MegaGrowth 50 Rankings are calculated over the past four years; ranked by growth in turnover based on returns to Companies House in the years 2005 to 2008. All analysis for the table was carried out on data from Bureau van Dijk's database in June 2009.
