Telegraph launches Fashion site

Telegraph Media Group has launched a new dedicated fashion and beauty website within Telegraph.co.uk.

Visitors to Telegraph.co.uk/fashion will be able to explore the huge range of the Telegraph’s fashion and beauty content as well as being kept up to date with the hottest fashion stories from the high street to couture, says the publisher. Award-winning Telegraph experts including Hilary Alexander, Kate Shapland and Justine Picardie will give sartorial advice, recommend products and inspire readers with the latest trends.

This innovative new site aims to seamlessly integrate content and e-commerce to maximise the visitors’ experience. The site makes it easy for readers to directly purchase items they see on the site with simple ‘buy’ and ‘love’ buttons in its “groundbreaking” I-spied section. The new site also includes exclusive video, beautiful galleries, fashion news and features and all the latest catwalk action, plus an inspiring ‘Trend-Watch’ weekly newsletter.

Nancy Cruickshank, Executive Director, Digital Futures, TMG, said: “The development of Telegraph.co.uk/fashion has been a close collaboration between the editorial, commercial and digital teams within TMG, in partnership with Made by Many. We are hugely excited to be launching such a premium fashion product, where content and e-commerce are integrated to benefit the visitor. Careful research and planning has gone into designing a site where users are guided from one area of the site to the next in a seamless way which, coupled with the world-class editorial team behind the site, will ensure a hugely interactive and informative experience.”

Carley Ayres, Fashion & Luxury Commercial Director, TMG, said: “The new fashion channel provides a luxury premium advertising environment with a range of exciting new commercial opportunities, in addition to traditional display formats. We can now offer our clients a dedicated and truly integrated proposition across all platforms both on and offline.”

Belinda White, Online Editor of TMG’s new Fashion website, said: “Stunning imagery forms an integral part of the Fashion site. We can show our customers the best fashion and beauty from the season in a luxurious environment, as well as giving them all of our insights and tips about what to buy. Our highly innovative new carousel browser also showcases the fantastic breadth of our content.”

The new site was created by TMG’s Digital Futures, in partnership with digital agency Made by Many and in close collaboration with TMG experts including Hilary Alexander, Michele Lavery and Anna Murphy.
