FirstPlay partners with Immersive Games

FirstPlay, Future’s on-console interactive show for PlayStation 3 (PS3), has announced a new partnership with acclaimed videogame developer Immersive Games.

The current episode of FirstPlay features an exclusive free PlayStation mini game: Immersive’s action-packed arcade puzzler Beam ’em Up. Pilot your spaceship over distant planets on a mission to collect alien specimens in this 50s-themed game, a contemporary twist on classic videogaming. Beam ’em Up is normally on sale at £2.49, but thanks to the partnership between FirstPlay and Immersive Games, gamers can now get their hands on it for free.

David Boddington, Producer of FirstPlay, said, “We have been working very hard to bring our viewers the very highest quality editorial content on FirstPlay, and it’s great to partner up with Immersive Games to offer our viewers an early Christmas present.”

Santosh Pillai, CEO of Immersive Games, said, “I am very pleased that we are entering into this partnership with FirstPlay on the PlayStation Network. This relationship fits with our strategy to develop and publish several titles to fulfil the demand for digitally downloadable games on PSN.”

FirstPlay is created by Future, the special-interest media group, in partnership with Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE). Episode 34 of FirstPlay is out now on the PlayStation Network store. FirstPlay costs just 99p or £8.99 per 90 days.
